About myenergi
myenergi was founded in 2016 by co-founders Lee Sutton and Jordan Brompton, whose passion for renewable energy drove their vision to optimise renewable energy use at home. They anticipated the direction of travel of electrification, renewable energy harnessing and behavioural change, and sought to design and manufacture a range of innovative products which would facilitate this shift. Their range of products – all designed and manufactured in the UK – are together the first eco-smart home energy solution developed for consumers in this space. myenergi has grown significantly since its inception, from a team of just six in 2016 to a workforce of more than 200 today. 2017 marked the release of their first three products – eddi, zappi and harvi – and the establishment of a loyal tribe of customers. In 2018 a fourth product – hub – was added, followed by the myenergi app and zappi V2 in 2019. In 2020, growth really started to take off; they opened our first international subsidiaries in Germany and Benelux, followed by Ireland in 2021.

When it comes to choosing a powerful yet efficient charger for your home, the Zappi by Myenergi is an excellent option. It’s a compact ‘eco smart’ device that’ll keep your EV charging to its full potential whilst using its various eco modes to prevent excess energy use.
The Zappi charger is available as tethered and untethered and comes with two different power options:
- 7.4kW Single Phase – ideal for home-charging, 7.4kW chargers offer the perfect amount of charging potential for most EVs.
- 22kW Three Phase – ideal for commercial charging, as most homes will not have a suitable three-phase power supply.
It also comes in black or white, so you can customise it to fit your home and preferences.
The Zappi is capable of operating as a standard EV charger – powered by electricity – and it is also capable of utilising 100% green energy such as that generated from Solar PV or wind generation.
Its alternative charging potential makes it a great option for those trying to live sustainably or off-grid. It will also easily help increase your return on investment (ROI) and make the most of your solar panelling and EV purchases.
The team at Myenergi have put in every effort to ensure that this charger has all the functions you need to charge your EV efficiently. You can pair your Zappi charger to the Myenergi app, which allows you to set timers to boost functions, utilise economy tariffs, monitor your devices and more!
The Myenergi Zappi also has free smart ‘eco’ charging modes to ensure that it is as environmentally efficient as possible whilst charging your electric vehicle. These include:
- ECO – the charge power is adjusted in response to changes in power consumption elsewhere in the home, including that generated by solar or wind energy. Charging will continue until the EV is fully charged.
- ECO+ – as in ECO mode, the charge power is adjusted based on consumption within your home, but in ECO+, your charging will pause if there is too much imported power being used and will continue when there is free power available.
Fast – Myenergi understands that sometimes you need a fast charge, so in FAST mode, the charger will operate like a standard Mode 3 charging point and charge the electric vehicle at maximum power.
