DS Automobiles was formerly a part of Citroën. They are a French luxury brand that now works independently to produce a range of luxury vehicles for international markets. DS has always been open about its intentions to go fully electric and plans to do so by 2025, only manufacturing electric cars from this point onwards.

DS currently has one commercially available fully electric car on the market:

DS EVs Charging Cables
You'll want to invest in high-quality charging cables to get the most from your EV or plug-in-hybrid. High-quality cables will allow you to charge your DS car more efficiently, resulting in faster charge times and battery life.

DS EV Chargers
It is wise to invest in a home charging set-up to get the most out of having an EV or plug-in hybrid. You can save significant money and time by charging your electric vehicle at home, especially if you utilise off-peak charging times to charge your car overnight.
For a DS EV or hybrid, we recommend a single-phase 7.4kW charger:
You can find the full selection of chargers on our website. We do not recommend three-phase chargers for home usage, as most homes will not have a suitable three-phase power supply to accommodate them.
The length of time it takes to charge your DS EV will depend on the type of charger that you use. DS's fully electric vehicles are capable of rapid public charging. However, their hybrid models are not.
A full charge for the fully-electric DS 3 Crossback E-Tense will take:
● 24 hours using a 3-pin emergency plug.
● 15 hours using a 3.6kW charger.
● 7.5 hours using a 7.4kW charger.
● 5 hours using a 22kW charger.
The DS 3 Crossback E-Tense is also capable of rapid charging and can go from 20-80% charge in:
● 40 minutes using a 50kW public charger.
● 20 minutes using a 150kW public charger.
A full charge for the DS 4 E-Tense 225 plug-in hybrid will take:
● 5.5 hours using a 3-pin emergency plug.
● 3.5 hours using a 3.6kW charger.
● 3.5 hours using a 7.4kW charger.
● 3.5 hours using a 22kW charger.
A full charge for the DS 7 E-Tense 4x4 360, and the DS 7 E-Tense 250 plug-in hybrids will take:
● 5.45 hours using a 3-pin emergency plug.
● 3.5 hours using a 3.6kW charger.
● 1.45 hours using a 7.4kW charger.
● 1.45 hours using a 22kW charger.
A full charge for the DS 9 E-Tense 4x4 360, and the DS 9 E-Tense 250 plug-in hybrids will take:
● 5.5 hours using a 3-pin emergency plug.
● 3.5 hours using a 3.6kW charger.
● 1.5 hours using a 7.4kW charger.
● 1.5 hours using a 22kW charger.
Investing in a home setup can save you lots of money in the long run, as you won't have to rely on expensive public chargers; there are even government grants to help you afford it.
