Renault released their first electric vehicle, the Renault Zoe, in 2018. There are now three models of the Renault Zoe electric car commercially available. It is important to identify the model of your electric Renault car to achieve maximum charging potential:

● The Renault Zoe R110 ZE40 (2018)
● The Renault Zoe R110 ZE50 (2020)
There is also one PHEV model currently available, the Renault Captur e-tech plug in hybrid (2020).

● A full charge in 6 hours using a 7kW charger
The Zoe R110 ZE40 (2018) is not capable of rapid charging.
Hybrid cars have smaller electric batteries, reducing their charging time. With a dedicated home charging port the Renault Captur e-tech can achieve:
● A full charge in 5 hours using a 3-pin plug charger
● A full charge in 3 hours using a 3.6kW charger
● A full charge in 3 hours using a 7kW charger
● A full charge in 3 hours using a 22kW public charger
Note that the Renault Captur is not compatible with rapid charging.
