Solar tiles cost slightly more than standard solar panels. However, when you consider that they are the roof material and solar panel combined, so you do not have to purchase a new roof, and additional solar panels.

As a rough estimate (very much dependent on the product), Standard Solar Panels cost on average £1750 per kW, or £250 per square metre. Solar Tiles cost on average £2250 per kW or £350 per square metre. However it is worth remembering that solar tiles replace the roof materials, so you do not need to purchase and install roof tiles if you go for the solar tiled option.

Plus UK customers pay ZERO VAT on solar panels and tiles between now and 2025. So it is an ideal time to make the investment.

Megasol Solar Tiles are made to order so delivery will be approximately 12-16 weeks from date of order. Solar Panels are usually quicker - approx 6 weeks from date of order.

Yes, our Smartly Charging Cables have a 12-month warranty, and all our Charge Points have their own manufacturer warranty (3 years).

Absolutely! All our charging cables are made to order in our UK factory, so we are very flexible. Please get in touch and we are happy to provide a quotation for any length of cable you require. Our store currently has up to 20m charging cables, but we have supplied 30m, 40m and 50m cables recently. Some locations have specific requirements which mean the charger is some distance from where the vehicle is parked – for example a car garage which needs to access multiple locations, or a home charger installed at the back of a house. We’re happy to help!
