Charging Suzuki Electric Cars
Charging Suzuki Electric Cars
Suzuki is still waiting for their time to shine when it comes to fully electric vehicles. The automotive company announced last year that they plan to release their first full EV before 2025.
While it may seem like Suzuki is running behind when so many industry titans have already switched to manufacturing electric vehicles, their CO2 emissions are already lower than many other manufacturers’ – as most of the cars they produce have small engines and light bodies.
Until this point, they have only released one PHEV, The Suzuki Across (2021), and updated it with a more powerful onboard charger in 2022. The remaining partially electric vehicles they offer are ‘mild hybrids’ that self-charge.

Charging your PHEV at home will help you make the most out of owning an electric vehicle, and it’ll stop you from relying on expensive public chargers and offer you an easy way to charge your car overnight, during cheaper off-peak energy hours.
For home charging, we recommend a single-phase charger. Take a look at our:
We typically don’t recommend three phase chargers for home charging as most UK homes will lack a suitable three-phase power supply. You can find all chargers available by clicking here.
